Bohol Pictures 2

More pics from Bohol, God what a incredible, beuatiful, exquisite jewel of a place!

1. Gassing up the old fashioned way, a liter coke bottle filled with gas and away you go!

2. Rice fields on the way to Nuts Huts.

3. By far the most photo friendly people I have ever met. Everytime I dragged out my camera the kids would flock around, hamming it up for the camera. Took these kids picture while I was waiting for my trusty steed to be gassed up.

4. I had fresh coconut almost every day. Totally unlike the coconut you get in the states, or anywhere non tropical for that matter. The coconut we get, the brown, dried out nasty stuff does not compare to this at all. Here in Bohol when you get a coconut it is fresh and green, without a speck of brown on it. After you buy your 'nut for about a quarter and drink the juice the seller cuts you a spoon from the husk and then chops it in half. With the piece of husk you can just scoop out the white, succulent meat just like very soft ice-cream.

5. A typical road on Bohol, trees, flowers, green.
